HanoiPlas 2024 – The 12th Hanoi International Plastics & Rubber Industry Exhibition (June 2024)

The 12th Hanoi International Plastics & Rubber Industry Exhibition, was held at the Hanoi International Center for Exhibition (I.C.E) from June 5 – 8, 2024. This premier event highlighted the latest innovations and developments from both Vietnamese and international companies in the plastics and rubber sectors.

HanoiPlas 2024 featured more than 200 exhibitors from 13 countries and regions, including China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the United States, and Vietnam, showcasing state-of-the-art technology and new products that are driving the sector forward. Industry players had the chance to witness and showcase cutting-edge technologies and products. Highlights included advancements in injection machinery, extrusion machinery, packaging machinery, and recycling solutions, all driving the plastics and rubber sector forward.

For years, it has attracted industry leaders and dignitaries, and created a powerful platform for growth. HanoiPlas goes beyond showcasing products – it pushes the expansion and success of entire industries, attracting investments, opening new markets, and boosting exports. Additionally, it offers Vietnamese enterprises opportunities to find partners and expand their reach regionally and globally. The exhibition has been organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade – National Trade Fair & Advertising J.S.C (VINEXAD) and Yorkers Exhibition Service Vietnam, and the Vietnam Plastics Association.

Among the notable exhibitors, Lotus Greentech presented at booth A51, showcasing products from renowned companies such as Erema, KraussMaffei, IPT, Sesotec, Sikora, Sica, and Wafo. Key highlights included innovations in Extrusion Technology, Injection Molding, Reaction Processing, and Recycling.

The exhibition also featured a series of inspiring seminars on topics such as “High-Clarity and Energy-Saving Sustainable PP Packaging Solutions” and “Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Policy Issues for Businesses Using Packaging,” presented by the Vietnam Plastics Association (VPA). Attendees also had the opportunity to gain insights into trends in the plastics industry, including supply chain and logistics optimization, market excellence, and advancements in mold technology for the smart manufacturing era.

Overall, HanoiPlas 2024 was a significant event for the plastics and rubber industry, providing a platform for innovation, collaboration, and growth.
